OHRID'S OTHER SIDE
If you join us on these tours you will reveal yourself the answer of the question why Ohrid in the past was called Lihnid (the city of light) sit in the kayaks and start pedaling towards the presidential villas nearby and then towards Kaneo one of the most breath taking places in the region where you will see church standing on the cliff, dedicated to St. John the Theologian build in the 13th century. Next is the secret beach Labino where we will have a swim break and we can see some of the underwater life in the lake.
Heading back to the city and follow the lake shore looking at the old part of Ohrid- called Varos and mountain Galicica from below. We will head to Biljana’s springs to hear the legend about making of the lake and visit the hydrobiological institute to see the most important fish in the lake the Ohrid trout or “Salmo letnica”.After the sightseeing, we pedal back to our starting point for lunch and some more water fun.
